day 14: Got LOST?

Day 14
Our last "full" day on Oahu was spent with more LOST adventures.

We returned to the Convention Center for a more "office tour" of the home of "airport" and Oceanic Airlines ticket booth.

Fisherman's Warf was set to be in Australia. They filmed these images flipped horizontally (mirrored images) so that driver's side of the cars would appear on the right side.  

We went back to Penny's boat "The Searcher" for some better pictures.

Jay found this shirt on the ground. It's actually a true fact esp coming from a drummer!

Then we drove to find "The Others" camp aka "The Barracks."
This was actually filmed on site of the YMCA camp. The swing set, gazebo had significant scenes.

Then we found Matsumoto's Shaved Ice. We had heard about this place on Chuck Henry's t.v. show Travel Cafe while planning our honeymoon. Since we didn't have a car on that trip and couldn't drive to the North Shore, we never did get to go to this place. It was a bit hard to find, and we were almost seven years too late, but it was well worth it!
