Churches of Hawaii

One of the things I most enjoyed was all the churches of both Kauai and Oahu. Considering that Kauai is one of the smaller of the Hawaiian Islands, they sure have LOTS of churches close in proximity and each are uniquely designed. The architecture is amazing. It felt somewhat like a scavenger hunt. Jay got a bit annoyed having to slow down by every church for a photo op. Ironically I also enjoyed passing by the cemeteries. They too are unique in their own way, much different than those on the main land.

Kauai churches

We kept seeing signs for the oldest church on Kauai. On a day drive with Jay we found the road leading to the church.
