The first day of fall was nearly three months ago, and you'd think it might fare cooler, but, guess again. We've been stuck indoors because it's ridiculously hot outside. The last few days have been 95 degrees with dry Santa Ana winds. Not only that, but there is tons of smoke and ash from various local fires. It sure would be nice to have true Fall weather. Here's a quote that I found which seems most fitting; granted it's a little morbid, but I found it funny too.
