Amanda helped watch Kate during one of my UCLA appts
Here's her Facebook status from that day:
"My little friend for the afternoon!  Favorite Kate moment of the day was when she turned around and said very seriously: My mommy is very special to me. And then calmly reminded me how silly fish are."

Our Mom's Together group enjoyed a tour of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center
Our guide took us up to a classroom where we got to watch a video about the center.
Then she showed us what they feed their patients

She had the kids help teach what the difference is between a seal and sea lion

Then the kids sang a song

Kids got to practice catching their seals or sea lions in a net

Followed by a coloring project

Lastly we got to tour the facility
(if you look closely at the picture below, you can see all the fish they just fed them)

We also got to enjoy some time having with friends.
Kate decided to put on Yia-yia's hat while we drove to lunch.

Kate also got some "Big Sister" practice time in with baby Bella.

Enjoyed a camping trip with Bryan, Christina, Amanda and Ryan in San Onofre followed by a beach birthday party where we all joined up with Bryan's friends, Yia-yia, Pa-pou, Aunt Julie, and Uncle Matt. Happy Birthday Uncle Bryan! Thanks Amanda for capturing the memories!

Fun with friends

Bryan took Jim and Jay climbing at Tahquitz Peak in Idyllwild.
When I showed this picture text to Kate she says said: "they did it!"

Kate's friend Amber has been having some heart problems. We prayed for her, sent many encouraging texts, and a small care package. They were too cute to miss when entering church.

Princess
(but we prefer not to give her that image)

Fruits of labor; Thanks Kate and Debra for sprucing up our back patio!
