Here comes Kate

In our family planning discussions with our cardiac/ob nurse practitioner Mary, we wanted our team to know that it was important for us to give back to the medical community in whatever way we could. So when asked, we didn't hesitate to give Mary permission to use pictures and our story for her educational talks. Recently, Mary traveled to Berlin and got to share our journey with others. She reported that the meeting went very well and that Kate got a nice "aw" from the audience.

Last week Kate and I attended the final meeting of our Mothers Together (similar to M.O.P.S.) group before our summer break.

Last Friday Kate turned 7months old! We had lots of fun planned for the day. She enjoyed her first Mommy and Me swim class. Nana and Papa were her cheering section.

Then later we enjoyed a beer making family dinner for Uncle Bryan before he leaves for a month.  The beer has to sit before it can be bottled, so we can't wait to try it when it's complete.
 Measuring ingredients.

We enjoyed listening to the live band.
Stirring the brew
Bubbling beer

Look what we got on video of Kate doing last night. We're in trouble now.
